Right after one of our recent snow storms. We had a sunny day with an ominous cloud off to the southeast. I used my Diana plastic lens film camera shooting into the sun.

You are having way too much fun with that little camera. I’m just glad that the snow is quickly becoming a memory.
I like the way it turned out! We are having some beautiful spring like days here now and it’s wonderful.
You are having fun with the little camera!! I love it! Actually, at first glance, the texture of the photo gave it the appearance of a painting! Terrific! Glad you’re having fun, it always helps improve the view!

That seems like a lot of snow for OK. Here we have been having a lot of precipitation but in the liquid form. There is snow in the Sierra, though, road closures and chain controls. I think it is a good day to stay out of the mountains.
That little camera makes this photo look like it’s from the 50’s.
Great shot.
Lots & lots of snow, but that’s a cool sky! =)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Neat photo! I’ve read about the Diana cameras but haven’t seen many photos taken with it — this is very cool! Wish I had one too 🙂

What a great shot! We had rain on top of our snow today. Supposed to warm up. Must see if I can find a sky-shot!
You guys had more snow than we did this year it seems!
Beautiful! Your photo turned out great. Most of our snow is gone now. Tomorrow they are promising 70 deg. F. which should get rid of the last of it. Can’t quite believe, 70 degrees? In the next breath our weatherman said a cold front will be coming through. The highs and the lows of the weather, not just in temperature but in spirits. Like taking candy away from a child.
Terrific shot, very bright view.
What a gorgeous sight!
Love the effect achieved in this photo. As the image loaded slowly from the top down, the first things I saw under the sky were the taller rooftops which looked like pyramids. While still thinking about pyramids, the snow reminded of sand. The combined effect led to me seeing the image as a SciFi depiction of the alien desertification of Oklahoma. Okay, so I have a off-the-wall imagination. I still like the image.
Lovely picture. FYI I tried a sample of The Red Garden on my Kindle and HAVE HAD TO BUY IT – I needed to know what happens next!!!
I need some hot coco…:) looks freezing!
Hope you can take a peek at my SkyWatch Friday entry as well. Thanks!
Fantastic!
Happy SWF!
Regards.
Take care, don’t hurt your eyes.
Great shot.
Wow..that is alot of snow…good shot of winters snowy delivery.
We here in Western NC mountains are now suffering with a high temp. of 70 for today…lol..Spring has arrived!!!
Very picturesque view!
Enjoy the weekend.
i’ve been wanting to have a toy camera too for a long time now…this photo makes me want to have it even more! 🙂
Very creative shot.
Is that a lomo camera?
@Marvin – That is my impression of the photo. It looked like some post modern snow bomb. I thought the cloud in the back looked vaguely like a mushroom cloud. I was afraid everybody would think I was a little creepy for saying so.
@Scene of Tranquility. Well yes, it is a Lomo camera in fact.
It has a dreamy retro look to it. I’ve never heard of a Lomo camera until now. Very intriguing photos it takes.
