This past weekend Sweetie and I took a much needed trip together to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
In a town of great B&B’s I think we stayed at the best. They brought a delicious hot breakfast to our door every morning.
We’re going back later this year. Check out Evening Shade for details.
We had a great time. We saw some funky old buildings.
Sweetie found a yarn shop
We each got a new hat
We checked out the treasures at the local history museum.
We saw some of the local couture
Checked out a local watering hole
And tried some of my favorite adult malted beverage
Shoot, we even saw Humpty Dumpty
We had a great time this weekend. We’re going back. Tell me about your last getaway.
Check out That’s My World
Eureka Springs is less than an hour from our home. We haven’t been over there in a year or so. I make it a point to check out the Susan Morrison gallery and I always stop by the Silly Chile for some hard to find BBQ sauces. Glad you enjoyed thew week-end. Looks like the weather will keep us all home this week.
I have never been to Eureka Springs, oh I been through. I think I need to take a trip there for sure.
This past weekend was a good time to go with the weather being what it was. We haven’t been to Eureka Springs in several years but we always enjoy the town when we go.
Looks like a fun place to visit. Love your new hats!
I don’t even remember the last time my husband and I had a getaway, it’s been a while 🙁

That looks like a great little town with so much to do and see! You have reminded me that I haven’t gotten away since last summer.
Oh, I’m so glad the two of you got away for such a great weekend! And what a terrific looking place! Love the idea of having breakfast delivered to the room!! Love your hats! Been longer than I care to think about since I’ve had such a fun getaway!! Hope your week goes well!

Yeah yeah yeah….but did you geocache???
I have never stayed at a B&B before but I want to someday. It looks like you had a very relaxing vacay.
Diggin’ those hats! Good choice!
I’m so glad you all finally went to Eureka Springs. I love ER.
And, my suggestion is: Try a different B&B each time. Seriously. We’ve stayed at about 4 or 5 different ones there. We loved the Tweedy House when we stayed there.
Loved seeing your pictures.
aloha,
looks like a fun place to visit…love the humpty shot best 🙂
thanks for sharing this
You found some funny things there.
Love that big egg on the wall, before the fall.
Seems like a fun place! 🙂
What fun! How can you go wrong when one of the main attractions is Humpty Dumpty? :))
A little something for everybody, it seems!
Great shots of some really cool, fun finds!
Breakfast at the door sounds really great. 🙂
Wonderful shots. That building does look great.
Sounds like a place that just wants to be refreshing. What a great, optimistic name. I sure do like that harp. Music can come from the craziest of places!
My daily getaway has been inside Neil Gaiman’s novels inside my Kindle. A beautiful and portable escape!
Looks like you had a great time, love the hats! Well as you know, we have one coming up in March!
You guys look like you had an awesome time. Great pics!
I think I’ve read about this town, aren’t they know for their gardens? We’ve been on the run lately, upt to the California/Oregon border, down to LA to care for Michael and next it will be Yosemite. Boy, am I getting behind in blog hopping.
Eureka Springs is our favorite place to visit. We make several trips a year there.
