This is Boston Avenue Church just south of downtown Tulsa. It is a national art deco landmark, built in the late 1920’s and designed by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Goff and Adah Robinson. At noon on Sunday they give tours to anybody that wants to take one. The interior is spectacular.
I have posted many photographs of this church. I never get tired of it.
It is indeed a beautiful church!! And your photos are always superb!! Lovely skies as well make the perfect heavenly view! Have a great weekend!!
I honestly don’t believe that I have ever been inside of this church. That’s a sad thing for a native Tulsan to admit. I need to put this tour on my “To Do” list. Like you, I never grow tired of this structure, but then there are several beautiful houses of worship in the downtown area, but they’re not all national landmarks.
Great photo of a church.Very beautiful.Have a nice weekend,Yogi!
Beautiful — nothing points to the sky more dramatically than a cathedral.
I love your churches, your cacti, your lunchtime geocaching! What fun!

Marvelous building and a great photo for SWF. Have a great weekend 🙂
Beautiful one!
I love this church and also the art deco period. However, is it me or is it emulating “The Leaning Tower of Pisa”? Perhaps you were listing a little when you took this?
The church is beautiful and a lovely sky, great photo. Happy weekend!
Fabulous Architecture!! Like it…
What a stunning building- and a wonderful sky to set it off too.
What a fabulous Church. I know I’d enjoy seeing the interior. Happy Weekend!
Glad you posted it today. It is gorgeous, both the church and the sky.
When «Louis» lived in Oklahoma, he never visited this church. It’s a shame he missed it – he has always liked Art Deco.
I can certainly see why you wouldn’t get tired of it. It’s a beautiful church!
The church is magnificent! If I ever get to Tulsa I want to see it for myself.
Love that architecture.
That’s a unique and very beautiful building. I’m not surprised that you never tire of photographing it.
I can see why the camera comes out a lot when you are around this church. Amazing!
