Last week, Heather, Logan and I loaded up and went to the Tulsa Botanic Garden north of town in the Osage Hills.
They have thousands of flowers there, lots of daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths.
All different colors!!
And a bunch of trees including this redbud variant.
Heather taking a break during our wanderings.
It was a nice sunny day and the flowers were beautiful.
We spent a couple hours wandering around
Purple and White (with purple stripes) was my favorite, maybe.
They had some variant of cherry trees with their subtle coloring.
And an agave cactus plant. I had to try my lensball on that.
All in all a great outing!!
And a bonus!! I finished another jigsaw puzzle on my ipad. I am addicted.
What a great outing. Your red buds and tulips seem to be a little further along than those here in NW Arkansas. The invasive Cleveland pears seem to be doing very well here. Something needs to be done to bring them under control. I’m hoping to take a walk in the woods later this week and photograph some of the fauna and flora. Have a blessed day.
Beautiful shots! I love day trips like that, and it’s been way too long since my last one.
What a vibrant day! That lens ball is fun.
Beautiful floral macro shots ~ Heather looks great and the puzzle is wonderful too ~ Xo
Wishing you laughter and love in all your days,

I’ve been doing a lot of jigsaws, as well!
The flowers are wonderful to see. We are still aways off that, but they will grow soon! So good to see yours in anticipation!
Lindo lugar, que bellas flores. Te mando un beso.
All kinds of lovely flowers and colours there Yogi, Spring is well and truly in your part of the world.
A visit to a botanic garden anytime is pretty much guaranteed to lift the spirits.
