I ran in a trail race in the Osage Hills northwest of Tulsa last Sunday.
View from Holmes Peak to the southwest.
Holmes Peak to downtown Tulsa
Downtown Tulsa earlier in the race.
How’d I do in the race? I finished vertically. So I was happy.
For other views of the sky from all over the world check out Skywatch Friday.
Couple things:
1. Beautiful photos–I can’t wait ’til all of that brown stuff is green. How ’bout you.
2. Do you run with your camera? Impressive.
3. Finishing is victory!
really interesting series – I like especially the last one.
Greetings:)
You were taking pictures and running and finish vertically! Damn, but you are one talented man! The photos are terrific and it does look like the Oklahoma that I remember! Have a great weekend!!

Love the hazy skies.
Congrats on finishing the race. Love the views!
Nice view of Tulsa. I run my first 5k in just over a week. I dont think run is a good term to us though, maybe run/walk is better.
These are lovely shots! I like the ones showing the city in the distance.
Great views! Where is Holmes peak> I need to go there with my camera. I will drive rather than run however. You are tough.
Great shots. I am glad you finished vertically.
