“If you want to, you can.”
Our Young Son Logan inherited his Dad’s athletic genes and he has Asperger’s Syndrome but he loves performing and always gives 110%.
This is from the summer before last. This move was really hard for him but he nailed it.
If you have the “Want to’s” as we say in the oilfield, then you can do it one way or another.
Six Word Fridays
Oh that is cute. He is growing up really fast! Good for him!
I have no doubt that all the support you give Logan has helped him turn many “want tos” into “yes, I did”.
I do SO agree with, Jeanie!!
Great words. I love your son’s determination and glad he nailed the leap!
I’ve loved watching Logan grow and reach goals. My mom always told me I could do anything/be anything I want, but I’d have to work hard for it. I think she also said something about no free lunch.
Such a cutee. Have a great weekend 🙂
This is great! He sure has spirit.
What a great picture, Logan looks like he is having a lot of fun.
There were days when I used to tell our daughter, “You can be anything you want to be, the only problem is, you just don’t ‘want to’ bad enough.” I guess it was my version of tough love. Looks like Logan has plenty of ‘want to’.
What an achievement for not only parents, but Logan looks “over the moon” as well. Small steps, small steps, lead onward and upward.
I know very little of Asperger’s but have just read a fabulous first book by Graeme Simsion called “The Rosie Project” – a story told through the eyes of a 39-year-old man. It had top critiques over here and I have it on my Kindle. If you can’t get it, and are interested, I would be more than happy to send you a paperback copy.
It’s along the lines of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time” which I also loved, but simply found “Rosie” even more uplifting (and humorous) I might add.
He’s such a sweetie! You must be proud!

Ya, I’ve got some ‘want tos’. But a couple will get me in trouble. Is it good to try them anyway?
hahahahaha
So true… it kind of goes along with ‘believe that you can do it and you will’
For sure Logan has spirit, and he also has great parents!
Fantastic 6 word motto – for leaping and all of life’s endeavors! Thanks for linking up!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I love the photo. You can tell that he is giving it 110%!

Good for Logan! Good for mom and dad. He CAN and he has fun doing it!
