I was geocaching at Tulsa’s Crow Creek Meadow when I happened across this butterfly. I do believe it is a Monarch.
Here is a video of it.
I was hiking on Turkey Mountain when I came across this bush with some sort of fritillary on it. My photo is too fuzzy for the online image searches to work properly.
Here is my wife Heather with our dog Kodi on an outing.
He is beginning to settle down after our roofing project. Here is expressing his displeasure with me. He’s a mess but we love him and are working with somebody help reduce his anxiety.
I’m linking with Saturday’s Critters.
Pretty butterfly, lovely wife and handsome and cute Kodi ~ thanks,

Pretty butterflies! I have not seen many Monarchs this summer.
Great photo of your wife and Kodi.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
…there can never be too many butterflies!
Linda s fotos. Me enamore de la mariposa. Te mando un beso.
Lovely, lovely dog.
Was he rattled due to the noise? Poor Kodi.
That last photo of Kodi is hilarious! He looks like a little Ewok or something! No, some sort of monkey has a face like that! I forget what kind. Nice to have butterflies. I grow all they could want, and all I get are cabbage whites.
Kodie is a cute, but so is your wife!
The only Monarch I’ve seen was up in Maine. We usually have a migration come through here, but I haven’t seen any yet. My milkweed bloomed in early summer, but that was it so I guess they’re not coming to see me this year.
Our dogs are all stressed out now because of our flooring project. It’s stressful for them.
