This time of year it is pretty cold, seeing how it is January and all, and the sunny days are just beautiful. They may be cold but they are nice and the sun is very low also. I shot this during my daily lunch walk at noon. Notice how low the sun is. In just seven short months the sun will be straight overhead and I’ll be dying from the heat. That’s okay as long as I’m still moving.
Keep moving, Yogi – that’s the key. I really like both the trees and the shadows they create.
I really love how the bare branches make such a maze of shadows.
Today I was out and about and noticing how January’s light begs us to get the camera out to capture all the painless drama. Your photo is beautiful.
Yogi,
My daughter’s Polaroid is fun. Definitely an indoor low-light camera sort of designed for parties. I would love to know more about your film cameras because she is very curious.
Still moving is good. That’s my basic aim for the new year, too.
Wonderful shadows makes it look like more trees in a forest. Yes, moving is good. If it’s cold keep moving to stay warm(er).
I’m grateful just to rise from my bed each morning, never mind move.
However, that’s a delightful shot and one that needs “looking at” to get all the nuances.
It’s hard to complain when life is treating you well, I agree. Love the perspective of this shot Yogi!!
Oooo, I love the shadows and there is NO snow!
The trees make some great shadows on the building! Keep moving is good.
good for you…keep on keeping on. love the tree shadows!!
Now that is a really neat one!
Sunday greetings from Port Canaveral. 🙂
Cool shadows! Yep, before we know it we’ll be complaining about the heat. ;))
Always loved the look of bare trees (I miss them). And yours is beautiful in duplicate. Lovely shadow shot.
