It’s hot and humid in Oklahoma, USA these days. Yes, well it is July and that is what we get.
I don’t really mind it. We have air conditioning in our homes and cars and you just have to adjust your outdoor time accordingly and use precautions. Take water, use sunscreen, dress appropriately, (I wear a lot of tech fiber clothing that wicks perspiration away.) And try to do outdoors activities in the morning and very late afternoons.
And look out for your pets, they need lots of water and rest also.
So just get out and enjoy yourself and take lots of photos.
…Alan, stay cool and well.
We’ve been fairly hot here, too!
It’s not been bad this week. I STILL am finding it difficult to get going, though. I lack motivation.
We’ve got A/C as well.
It’s been a strange summer for us. Lots of rain and hotter than usual. Although in Colorado anything above 75 degrees is hot.
Looks like it’s very hot there. You’re having a good Summer by the look of it.
great photos – the second one is magical
Great series of ‘sky photos’ ~ Wow!
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Sorry for posting wrong photo ~ learning curve on WordPress is a bit steep ~ lol
Great reflections.
Yeah, don’t go out at mid-day! As to animals, even on a day of only 75 degrees, a car can get to 100 in only 10 minutes. Leave your pets at home. (I don’t mean you personally, Alan!) If you can’t lay your hand down on the sidewalk comfortably, don’t walk your dog! When it’s 90 degrees out the pavement can be 115 or hotter.
Beautiful shots!
The first photo looks familiar. There’s abuilding at a stop light in the town next to where I live. There’s a building with an orange roof. They’re fixing the road and have those orange barracades.
I love the two photos with water!
Great advice for pet owners.
Excellent advice! I’ve been using more tech fiber clothing too. Not only good at wicking away perspiration, but you can get it with SPF properties. Have a happy 4th!
Gorgeous shots!
Temps here are hanging around 86–95°F as usual—classic Malaysian heat.
Gorgeous reflections! It’s been hot here too, but some places have it worse.
Chicagoland is known for being hot and humid in July and even hotter in August. Good advice go out early morning or later in the day when it is cooler. The middle two photographs were my favorite this week. HAPPY 4th OF JULY.
Gorgeous captures!
Awe!! The second one looks like a lovely painting!
Beautiful photos and I like the photo on the Skywatch meme with the farm/cattle scene.
My favorites are the 2nd and 3rd photos. Happy 4th of July to you and your family!
Have a great day and happy weekend.
The second picture is calendar-worthy. What a stunner! We all need to be mindful of summer weather; yours is a good reminder.
Happy Independence Day Yogi!
Stunning photos, Skies looks amazing.
Happy Independence Day to you and your family.
Here in Milwaukee it seems very humid and wet, very green this year!
