Here’s a sunset from the front yard.
And a reverse sunset (looking east) from the backyad.
A reflection of the sky at Tulsa’s Lafortune Park. I think I used the Becasso filter on this.
And a pond at the Turkey Mountain Wilderness Area. Another Becasso filter.
And a jigsaw puzzle I recently completed. It took me a while to figure it out.
And from ten years ago. I saw this threatening sky on an after work run on Turkey Mountain. Luckily this was to the east so I wasn’t threatened. I would hate to be on the other side of those clouds.

…the image of the pond at the Turkey Mountain Wilderness Area is gorgeous.
Beautiful sky images and I like your Tulsa Church image. The Puzzle is a pretty scene!
Take care, have a great day!
I really like these photos, you can see the fine details of the clouds in the sky.
Nicely done! The filter effect for Lafortune Park adds a bit of spark and magic to an already beautiful scene.
Stunning photos!
Really beautiful skies. Can’t decide if front yard or back yard is my favorite!
Lovely sunset pics! And that reflection in the pond is gorgeous.
The cloudscape on photo 1 is so beautiful. I haven’t seen this pattern before.
Worth a Thousand Words

My favorite shown on your blog was the reverse sunset but that picture on your Flickr account was a big WOW. Alana ramblinwitham
Beautiful mix of colors in this sunset!
Yes, that puzzle looked challenging–glkad you were able to complete it!
Love the skies — real life and the puzzle (which looks unsolvable to me! ) The decade old sky pic from flikr didn’t link up but I can imagine from remembering some of your past posts. Scary. I ‘d prefer the blue sky days please! (in real life, I do like seeing stormy pictures). Actually, I like seeing any sky pictures — apparently I’m forgetting to look up as this is the second week I haven’t had a good sky shot to share.
Beautiful sky shots.
Hi Alan, a very interesting post indeed. The first thing that caught my attention (besides the beauty of the first image) was the REVERSE image of sunset. I wondered if that was just a flipped image OR if you get that much of a western sky when looking east at sunset? Either way, I really like that image. Truly great reflection shot at Lafortune Park. Can’t imagine doing the puzzle. I had no trouble pulling up the image from Flickr and a beauty of a stormy sky. Thanks for sharing all and thank you for your kind recent comment on my blog. John
Gorgeous photos! Oklahoma really does have some of the most dramatic and beautiful skies.
