The light in New Mexico is different. The sun is intense, the trees in the desert areas are sparse and small. The shadows are wonderful.
A bench with shadows at an art gallery on Canyon Road.
Tree Shadow we saw on a hike on their Dale Boll Trails just outside of town.
Also on the Dale Boll Trails, prickly pear cactus makes for interesting shadows.
I am linking with Shadow Shot Sunday

Interesting shadows, some of which I would never see where I live. Seeing lighting in different parts of the country is interesting. Maybe one day you’ll get to Alaska.
I like the outdoor bench and I have the prickly pear cactus too. Thank you for your comment at my blog about self hosting/independent blog hosting, I think that’s the way i will go, i have one set up and ready to go this week.
I see what you mean!
I enjoyed living beside a lake, the sunsets and clouds. I miss that here. But the forest has a lot of wonderful critters!
…stay cool in the shadows!
Very nice shadows. I like stucco walls. They usually go with the terracotta tiles I like! Not so much of them here, but in CA there were.
