Ruby Tuesday – Downtown Tulsa

I thought it about time for my first Ruby Tuesday Post. Be gentle!!

Something about this building reminds me of painting “treatments” that people pay a fortune for these days. The couldn’t afford to replicate this on a new building.

McNellies is the place for draft beer and cheap hamburgers Wednesday nights. McNellies Sidebar is the place for martinis.

the first photo of the building, it looks strange for its fading color. I really like red facades and red doors. They really stand out:)

    thanks for visiting my Rt.

It’s surprising how many churches have red doors. I love the red against the brick and the painted ‘welding’ sign is really cool. I also like the faded red of your first picture.
I guess I went from the bottom up…duh!

I like the red building too. I have a picture of it to use tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday.

Churches often have red doors because red is the color of the Holy Spirit. Some houses have red doors for the same reason. Mine is red too.

You’re right, the coloring on that first building would make a great (and very pricey) finish today.

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday, fun kickoff entry.

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday!! It’s fun, I’ve been playing for a long time now and looking for rubies has become a weekly habit!
You did great on yours!! That pub looks very English to me.
