I went on a four mile run on the Arkansas River here in Tulsa last Monday. It about killed me. It was close to 100 degrees. The sun was out even after work. At least it was breezy. I came to a fountain on the river where and caught some droplets. I also caught a photograph.
The reflections and the refractions made the sun look even bigger. But at least I was cooler.
Wednesday night Sweetie and I went bike riding. It was still warm, but not as bad.
Check out Skywatch Friday for views of the sky, from all over the world.
like the cloud formation breaking up…the colors, the light…beautiful capture.
Wow, these are both great captures…I love the clouds though. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.

Love that fountain shot Yogi. You be careful out there running 4 miles in this heat. Even the strongest of runners can have heat strokes. =)
It’s too dang hot to be running 4 miles. Nice pictures tho.
I love that second one. So much like water sprayed from a giant, celestial fountain.
The second one is particularly intriguing with the varying light pattern.
Lovely, I especially love the delicate colours in the second.
Whoa, I can almost feel that hot sun. The second photo looks lots cooler.
Scattered cloud makes me go wow.

The picture and knowing you did a 4 mile run makes me sweat. Good job.
I love the dapply clouds. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for stopping by The Zees.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a sky like this and I’m constantly looking up! It seems a little coddled.
Wow that’s a good shot of the sun and water. The sun looked so huge and it looked like very hot weather for you. Have a nice weekend.
Nice photographs.
I keep watching the radar and rain comes down to the Red River and stops.
thanks for the visit,
Troy
Love the pink little clouds in the second picture !
Could not see your pictures, Flicker came up blank.
Wow! Those clouds are like little drops of water in the sky! Beautiful!!
Hi Yogi,
The sky in the second photo reminds me of the water droplets in the first. Good for you to exercise even when it’s hot!
Second image is really beautiful. Love the cloud pattern and the light.
Wow! That first one is just stunning. And the second one is beautiful!
Stay cool!

Oh you bring back memories. When I was young and foolish I ran that same stretch of Arkansas River on a hot summer day and blacked-out. I learned my lesson!
You lived in Coyote, NM!!!!! I love that place. I was 15 yrs in N.M. before I moved back to Oklahoma.
I always love your skywatch fridays…great pix!
Those photos are so cool looking, especially liked the first one but then when I look at the second, all that light dancing off those clouds, hard to pick a favorite.
Love that second pic.
