Reflection of the sunset off the BOK Center here in Tulsa.
Just to the upper left of the building is the Creek Hanging Tree. Yep a hanging tree that was actually used way back when. Supposedly the area is haunted. Check it out.
Do you have any hanging trees in your neighborhood?
i will have to look into that. not sure about the hanging tree … guess i can google it? i love the architecture of this building. neat reflection. ( :
hey Yogi – i went & read your other post. my question is i wonder why they keep the tree? you would think that some folks would be against it? i see it is part of history. but tough to think that it was or did happen.
Great reflection for the day and that hanging tree is a very interesting part of the history and even more interesting is that it has been saved!! Wishing you and your beautiful family a very wonderful and Merry Christmas!! Enjoy!

The sunset is pretty reflected here. I bet the sunset was gorgeous. A hanging tree? Oh my! If we have one here, it’s a secret.
My neighborhood was mesa until 40 years ago so all the trees around me are too young for that kind of reputation. It’s not the trees fault.
Wonderful reflection post!
Merry Christmas to you!
Great reflection shot of the sun ~ Merry Xmas ^_^
Beautiful reflection but the history of the tree is a bit gruesome.
The reflected sunset makes the building look like molten metal.
There is a hanging tree in Wickenburg, not far from Yarnell.
I imagine there must be hundreds, if not thousands, of hanging trees in England given the length of our history. However, if memory serves me right, we tended to use the gallows or an axe.
Lovely reflections Yogi – have you been good and bought all your gifts or are you a last-minute man?
That’s not a PERSONAL memory of gallows or axe killings – old I may be, but not that old:-)
A hanging tree right there in the middle of town. Sort of like Tower Hill in London. We cannot forget the horrors of years gone by. Sadly in the 20C, we are creating our own horrors. I went back and read your other post and it was so interesting. Glad I was NOT on that train. The reflection of the sun is vivid and impressive.
The sun fire reflecting on that strange piece of architecture is so amazing, so warm… Well done.
