Looks like an interesting historic place to go and dance to great music.
I have been there many times. Truly, the best place in Tulsa to see a concert, in my opinion. My wife and I even got engaged there, all alone on that historic dance floor with the mirror ball spinning above. A great place, indeed.
That’s a great building. Makes me think of a castle. I love the glass brick and would love to see the effects on the lighting inside sometime.
In the 25 years I have lived here in Tulsa I have never been to Cains. LOL for some reason I always thought it was some really big place. Great shot Yogi!
Yogi: Thanks for sharing this history from Tulsa.
I love the Cain’s Ballroom history. It really is a neat place.
Great post.
In days of yore, there used to be lots of dance halls. Nice to see a survivor.
I haven’t been yet – maybe someday we’ll venture out there with you and Sweetie?!
