Last Saturday afternoon late we had a late storm that barely missed town to the northwest. It looked awful ugly on the weather center radar but not bad if you were not right under it.
This immediately brought to mind an old “joke” saying from years back. “‘Twas a dark and stormy night and the wind was blowing a gale. The captain said to Antonio, Antonio tell us a tale. And the tale goes on to say: – ‘Twas a dark and stormy night and the wind was blowing a gale etc.etc.etc.” A poetic roundelay if you will. Gorgeous photograph of a ghostly sky.
Love the drama and colours!
creepy & wild. ( :
I really like what is going on here. The colors, the contrast, the whole mood of this photo is intriguing. Very nicely captured Yogi.
Massive clouds. I’m ready for rain…
Cheers from Cottage Country!
Not bad? It looks quite beautiful. Although I would definitely seek shelter.
Fantastic sky shot!

You capture the best skies there in Tulsa, Yogi. Glad it didn’t turn out to be as ominous as it looked – beautiful, too.

Absolutely gorgeous. Storms sometimes have spectacular skies that accompany them. You captured an amazing one. Have a great weekend, Yogi. Mickie 🙂
