Skywatch Friday – Teton Mountains

Grand Teton from Mormon Row

The Mountains of the Grand Teton National Park from Mormon Row. An area where Mormon settlers from Idaho started farms beginning in the late 1800’s. Personally I don’t know how they got any farming done with a view like this all day long.

I bet they didn’t realize that in a hundred years photographers, bison, and National Park Rangers would be stumbling over each other on their farms.

I’m glad you got to go there and actually see the mountains. Some photographer friends were there last year and saw bisons, but probably not to the point where they were tripping over one another.

Beautiful photo, I found this area very impressive when I was there a couple of years ago. It doesn’t look like OK!

It is a lovely view of the Tetons. And very famous too, I have seen many shots of this barn and the mountains. Your shot is wonderful, thanks for sharing.

This image takes your breath away and keeps your eyes glued to it. I can’t imagine ever getting much done with that view going on.
