After a recent run on Turkey Mountain in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I know, I know, all good skywatchers try and present skies unsullied by anything human but I thought the tower added a little drama to the pic.

I think a good sky (or any other)photo should have something in it along with the clouds/stars/sun/moon …
I’d call that a pylon rather than a tower. Although I normally think they’re very unsightly, this particular one looks just right!
We’ve discussed this before — you know it isn’t Friday, right?
Hey, it makes a great exclamation point! And beautiful skies they are! Have a wonderful weekend!

It is dramatic, man overriding nature. That’s reality, too.
It’s a beautiful sky.
A powerful picture in more ways than one. Love it!
great shot! 🙂
Great shot.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
Great shot!
And it does look powerfull against the beautiful sky.
Wish you a wonderful weekend.

beautiful image!
what a cool shot.
My sky is here
Beautiful sunset, and I love the hydro pylon adding those sharp angles!
Have to tell you I have NEVER been to Turkey Mountain and I’ve lived here all my life. Great shot.
Interesting no doubt!
The tower isn’t a distraction, it’s the center of interest.
Beautiful photo!
Wonderful silhouette and colours.
Nicely composed shot.
I think the human touch is a wonderfully provocative thing. I have fallen into the trap of cropping out human influences–and then thought of how nonsensical. We are undeniably here. Thanks for this great shot.
I like this, Yogi – beautiful metallic lace with a colourful sky as the backdrop.
I agree with you, Yogi. The power lines make the shot more interesting.
