You ever take a photo of something that you like and don’t have a use for it but you never quite forget about it? I took this photo three years ago on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. My niece Jillian was graduating and I spotted this fence while I was on the campus. Isn’t it just perfect for an Ag College. All about cows, horses, on plate steel and they even have a fence on the top and bottom.
This is my first post on Friday Fences.
Now that’s an artsy fence. Someone went to a lot of work to “carve” that metal to perfection!
This is great…very unique…glad you finally found use for it!
Not only do I like the artsy fence but love the rust.
It’s a great looking fence, nice shot and glad you shared it today.
I love this fence and the colors with the greenness! Terrific! And aren’t you glad you took the pic!! It is perfect for the day! Have a great Friday!

It’s a really awesome fence! And you finally were able to share it with a purpose!
This is a great fence. I love the color and the greenery. Glad you could finally share it.
Such a lovely shot of this fence!
This is very clever. There are a lot of art pieces cut from plate iron scattered around. You encounter them in unexpected places. You could start a meme for them.
This follows the old adage, never throw anything away, you never know when it will come in useful. Something my father, a carpenter, followed assiduously with any old bit of wood – much to my mother’s chagrine.
Very unusual. Does it continue beyond the right side of the picture?
I really like this fence – love the cut outs.
now that is a cool fence….
Yup. I do it all the time.. I consider them my ‘art’ shots .. LOL
I like it! Glad you save the photo and finally shared it.
Now that is a great fence…and yeah, perfect for that college.
What a design for something so simple.
I didn’t think that looked like Oklahoma — in fact it looks a little familiar! (We have kids in CO and have toured the campus there.)
Beautiful fence.
Regards and best wishes
That is great. It reminds me of some similar metal work I came across at Ocean Beach Park in New London, CT. This fence tells a story. I am glad you kept the photo!
