Last Wednesday I ran after work along the Arkansas River here in Tulsa. I noticed a couple of new water features at a play park. That might have been there for years but they were new to me!
Something about water resonates with us. Maybe because we are so dependent on it.
Those fountains are really beautiful against the sunsetting sky. And I really like the angle you got on the second image. Nice to discover new things in an old neighborhood.
What gorgeous captures!! Your composition is superb and what a perfect sunset! It is indeed great to discover new things in an old neighborhood! Enjoy your day!

Of course I’m repeating myself by saying gorgeous photos! Did you make a run through the water?
They’re way too big for you not to have noticed them before. Ergo, I reckon they’re new installations.
Elementary my dear Watson……
How true. Water is life, and there is no life without it.
Love the first photo. Every water droplet seems to stand out.
That first pic is super cool! Did you get your fanny pack wet?
And because it is apart of us too Yogi.
Next time if I were you I would have a splash around, frolic in those lovely fountains 😉
These are amazing photos! I love them. The only water here is in my new pond…sigh. But 6 frogs now!
These are amazing.
I wish I knew where there was a play fountain near Michael. As hot as it was in LA Grandma wouldn’t have minded running through a fountain herself.
Fine photos. These are new to me too and I live a block off Riverside. Where is this?
WOW – I love the golden light in those shots, Yogi -esp as it shines on the fountain sprays in the first photo. Sometimes, it’s not just what you photograph but the time of day and the angle of light.
You really have an eye for taking great photographs!
