Thorncrown Chapel is a beautiful wood and glass chapel set in a forest near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is absolutely beautiful.
I used to Topaz Impressions to make the photograph look more like a painting. I’ll tell you thought that there is nothing like being there for this gem of a building.

It certainly creates a strange ‘alice in wonderland’ effect.
wow- that is an amazing chapel!
That is awesome!! Terrific capture and thanks for sharing — as always! Hope your week is going well!
Lovely bright colors —looks like a sunny summer day.
Gorgeous…Happy Holidays♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/xmas-card/
I love how the chapel glass reflects the forest.
I was thinking like Birdman: It certainly creates a strange ‘alice in wonderland’ effect.
Have a nice evening
Next time you are in the area you need to see the Cooper chapel in Bella Vista. It is a metal and glass structure designed by the same architect and has very similar dimensions to Thorncrown. It is a more Gothic design.
Wow. I love out-of-the-way chapels in nice places. There’s a little one on a mountain roadside in New Hampshire that’s a particular favorite. Barely holds six folks, I would think. Nice.
Love how the leaves seem to be reaching out… Beautiful.
It is a beautiful chapel. Haven’t been there in years. I love your edit on the photo!
It is beautiful and I think your rendition helps capture the beauty of the glass and the wood. I can see that, like most spectacular views, it would be even better to see it in person. Had never heard of ths beautiful chapel. Will have to keep it on my list of places to see … I am thinking it would be well worth my while.
