@Driller – a local bus company uses the building for storage. The detailing company has been long gone. Detailing companies, to me, seem like the last businesses to open during an economic boom, and the first to close when the economy heads south.
I think we’re all feeling the same way about the economy, but the dark news just seems to get darker by the day. I’ve gotten where I hate to even turn on the news.
Is it open for business?

No wonder the sign needs a little paint.
Hope the downturn reverses soon! We need more people to tend to some details. 🙂

interesting sign!
neat and cool shots.

All boarded up doesn’t bode well for ladies touch, appears to have been abandoned some time ago.
I’m thinking they should have gotten a lady with a better touch ;).

Well, I’ve never paid attention to any detailing business around my area. I’m more attracted to golden arches signs
Sounds like they didn’t pay attention to the FINANCIAL details! Great sign, nonetheless!
Great sign – nice catch!
Always sad to see businesses boarded up and someone’s dream with it. Still at least the sign is left.
I love signs!
Cheers from S.E. Ontario Cottage Country!
darn. my car could use some detailing.
Another sign of time!

You need to do a guided sign tour downtown. 🙂
From the interesting dilapidated logo, it looks like the place had been around for awhile. Always a little sad to see businesses close up shop.
My mind went into overdrive when I saw the sign and then, sadly, the boarded up window.
LOVING this!
If the detailers had transitioned to tattoos, the doors might still be open!
The sign could use a little detailing. It’s true, detailing is a business for a booming economy, when people have money to burn.
