Pedestrian Bridge

The Pedestrian Bridge is a converted railroad bridge across the Arkansas River in Tulsa. It connects an extensive trail network on both sides of the bridge administered by the River Parks Authority.

The bridge is popular with walkers, runners, bicyclist, fishermen, photographers, geocachers, and bloggers. It makes for wonderful people watching.

I used a recyclable film camera for the photos. I like to take pics while riding my bike and not have to worry about dropping the camera.

Gaggle or Skein

I get so confused, what is a group of geese called? Flock, Gaggle, what? I know what the thumb in the photo above is called, its called a goof.

Thanks to Al Gore inventing the internet we have Wikipedia. They say that a group of geese on the ground is a Gaggle and a group of geese in the air is a Skein or a Wedge. Thanks Wikipedia, thanks Al, really.

I found this gaggle at my gym. I have no idea where they came from nor where they were going but they were in formation and they were on the move. I didn’t want to get in front of them but I could tell I was making the adults a little nervous so I called it quits after the the three pics. All I had for a camera was an old recyclable that didn’t do very well in dim light.

Disposable Camera at the Races

I just love Disposable Cameras. They are cheap to buy and if all you want is the photo disk, they are cheap to process. It is also nice to see what is you photos you took when you get the disk. I like to take them while running, if you drop it, you haven’t lost much. These pics were taken at the Jingle Bell Run here in Tulsa a few weeks ago.

Why doesn’t that lady want to talk to Santa? I bet she got some coal at Christmas.
