Scene at a gas station /convenience store on a rainy morning north of Tulsa. At the QuikTrips people are coming in getting gas, coffee, breakfast wraps, and sandwiches. Everybody that comes in is greeted. The stores are constantly clean and continuously updated. Stores like QuikTrip and others are killing some of the other chains like Shell and others in the Tulsa area. I don’t mean to sound like a commercial but the plethora of abandoned Shell and other stations in Tulsa has really been a subject of mine on this blog.
It is wonderful that a number of those “Shell-like” stores/stations are getting replaced by those who do so much more for their customers!! Can’t ride on “the old name” forever!! Have a great new week!!
I love all the reflections in this photo!
That is a great photo! It also sounds like a real nice place to give your custom to.
That is a beautiful picture. We haven’t had much rain this summer. I suppose that makes for lovely summer weather but I think we are getting a bit dry. Your reflections look so pretty.
Best and biggest maple long John pastries o the planet. Great image. In NW Arkansas, Casey’s and Kum N Go have taken over the convenience store landscape. They have obviously used Quick Trip as their retail model.
What a wonderful shot – the red really pops against the grey.
Love the effect you gave this shot.
We need rain here so much that this photo really got me going. Lots of red but I LOVE that shiny grey/black parking lot, not to mention that SKY.
when we were FullTIme road warriors, these clean and friendly Cstore/ gas stations were most welcome places.
Love the photo!
