I haven’t been taking very many decent sky pictures here in Oklahoma lately. It is either bright blue skies or rainy or overcast so I’ve gone back to the archives to our trip to Hawaii last summer. Talk about breathtakingly beautiful scenery everywhere you look. I think this was the island of Kauai. I’m terrible about documenting my photos, just terrible.
The weather has turned pretty nippy here. I have to tell you that Tulsa is as far north as what I want to live. The Gulf Coast is beckoning me right now, something fierce. I hate being cold!!
How about you? Are you happy where you are or wish you somewhere else? When I put it like that, I’m like, yes I’m happy right where I am at. Plus if I moved I would just find something else to complain about.
So I guess I’ll stay a while.

Yes, I am happy where I am. 🙂 It’s true that no matter where you go there’s something to complain about. Kudos to you for making that observation. Now get out there and find something to be glad about. LOL Actually, I find your blogging very refreshing as you mostly share your positive outlook on life.
There is something about land and water together that seem to produce incredible skies. Some of my best sky photos were taken on the Florida coast or during our Alaska cruise. Like you, I don’t always document the locations of my images as well as I should. Have a blessed week. I think I am about to come off of my blogging break.
Well, I grew up in west Texas and I couldn’t wait to leave and when I did I moved to Oregon and even though I do sometimes get tired of the rain, I do love it here and can’t imagine living anywhere else!! But I am looking forward to visiting my son and his new family in Dallas in March!!! This is a beautiful capture and I do love those puffy clouds!!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
I’m all for the gulf coast too! I really, really dislike winter.
I’ve never been to Hawaii, but it always looks gorgeous in photos. You’d never survive in the mountains of CO, Yogi! So far, so good for me. Unless the temps go into the minus teens, I’m out there enjoying it.
There are no better skies than in Hawaii! I’ve visitied often, and wondered if I might like to live there. I’m pretty happy here in S CA, especially with the weather, but too crowded and expensive. Always something to complain about, right!!?
Fantastic view!
I am just the opposite. I always love where I am at. I like adventures but I have noticed as I age that sweet “home” Chicago is the place I love BEST. In all fairness my family lives there and so I begin missing them too much to stay somewhere forever.

Indeed Hawaii must be really beautiful. It’s cold here in Pa. I’ll stay but I wish we would get some snow.
Let’s go to Hawaii!!!!
Amazing
That is a fabulous sky!
That is just stunning!
I think you know I don’t need to answer your question! C’mon down! ( though as I remind or kids and grown grandkids, somebody has to work). We already did that and we already got cold … I should add that it really isn’t true that everybody in Florida is retired of course!
Beautiful Hawaii sky! Thank you for hosting!
ah, Hawaii, a great place. I might visit Oahu in May if I can get a place to stay 🙂
Beautiful view of the Hawiian sky. Great shot. Have a happy weekend!
