In the country south of Tulsa near the town of Bixby, a fast growing suburb. I keep thinking that this field is going to be wall to wall houses in about ten years, or sooner. I hope not.

A lovely serene image Alan – yes, know what you mean about “urban sprawl”. Let’s enjoy what we have while we have it.
Whatever filter or editing you did here works so well. I love it.
Worth a Thousand Words
Gorgeous composition and colors ~ magnificent photo ~
Hope development doesn’t take over this beautiful place.
Wishing you a Happy Week ahead ~ ^_^
Gorgeous photograph!
I know what you mean, Yogi. The same thing is happening here. All I see is “land for sale” signs and then housing developers putting up house after house. They say 100,000 new people are moving to Colorado every year.
So beautiful pic
That’s an awesome shot, how cold does it get there in winter?
I know just what you mean….
In an area from our home toward the Gulf, there was a beautiful open field and the cranes wintered there every year….now it’s ALL Houses!!!
Stunning colours in your sky!
This seems like the perfect picture and the perfect place. Looks so relaxing. Hope it stays like that.
beautiful Alan, love the colors.
So pretty — it really looks like it’s way out in the country, but if it is a fast-growing suburb it probably won’t be country for too long.
You are so right Alan about space being at a premium. Let’s enjoy it while we can and what a superb view you have there.
Beautiful sky over what I hope remains an open field. Houses would just screw up the view.
What a lovely scene. Nice
