Here is a crowd scene in western Oklahoman. Tough looking but nothing like Tulsa shoppers on a shopping rampage.
And here’s security, a guard donkey keeping the bad guys at bay.
Here is my happy spot. Not this Christmas but maybe future??

Beautiful shots! I want a donkey, but Irv says “NO”.
Give me that tough crowd of cows any day! Great pictures. Wishing you and yours a wonderful festive holiday.
I love these images. While I enjoy the beach, if you’re looking for me, you might find me hanging out with the guard donkey. Those wide open spaces are hard to beat.
The guard donkey is cute – and yes Christmas on the beach is fabulous
The guard donkey is precious, and the skies are grand!
Youβre still stuck with the donkeys? I thought youβd have moved on to Christmas by now π
Love the ‘xmas shopper’ herd ~ neat photos ~

This is wonderful, Yogi. I hadn’t realized how close you are to us. Have a great Solstice, and wish your mother a happy birthday for a fellow celebrant.
Nice skies. Don’t like crowds. Best is the lonely beach.
Merry Christmas!
LOL about the Tulsa shoppers on a rampage. I’m curious to know where your “happy place” is? Looks like perhaps a Florida beach? Love that shot of the guard donkey.
I would love a quiet peaceful walk on the beach any time!
aww I love the donkey – such a gentle creature.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful festive holiday.
Hello, love the cattle and cute looking donkey. The last beach scene is beautiful, wish I wish was there.
Have a happy day and weekend. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
A beach in winter would be nice.

Western Oklahoma isn’t that far away from north Texas, but it sure looks more like prairie up where you are. As my father used to say about this neck of the woods, “there are just too many trees.” Like me, he loved the open spaces of plains and desert. Some nice shots here, as usual. I wish I could have a donkey or a burro of my own. Like your beach shot: maybe someday.
i love that first picture, however you did it – both the cows and the sky!
Amazing pics. 1st pic just Awesome.
You are right. So much crowd everywhere… One and only atmosphere of Christmas π
Meeerrryyyy Christmas!!! π
