Serendipity

If you are a blogger, you should always have your camera with you. Case in point, on our way to the John Mayer concert here in Tulsa we passed this scene right in front of Holy Family Cathedral. Have you ever seen a more elegant couple?

Cathedral

Right after I snapped the pic, the groom looked at me, I gave him the thumbs up, he smiled and nodded his head. He was one proud groom. I wish them a long and happy life together.

Priest : Since it is your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands, and declare your consent before God and his Church.

Groom: I, take you to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.

Bride: I, take you, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.

They are a beautiful couple, and I hope they will be very happy.
You’re so right about the importance of always having the camera. Every time I don’t have mine, something interesting happens and I miss it!

I try to always have a camera with me whether it’s my Nikon or my small pocket camera. You just never know what’s around the corner.

Beautiful couple and a great shot.

    Wonderful picture.
I never go anywhere without my camera…my husband says that he’s surprised I don’t sleep with it. Guess he hasn’t looked under my pillow! LOL!
