Skywatch Friday – Snow and More

We are in the middle of a cold front here in northeast Oklahoma. We got some sleet and snow with it and some cold temperatures. Not a fan of cold weather, snow, or any of that other low temperature foolishness.

The low temps are here to stay for a few days so we are not going to get much melting. Our fellow bloggers in Colorado, New England, northern Europe, and Canada are probably getting a big chuckle about whining like this. I don’t blame them at all.

This to shall pass.

Good thing Heather kept her snow men out.

Here is a scene from just a few days ago when we had shirtsleeve weather.

Son Logan wearing a tshirt while walking Rascal.

It was so warm that I was asked to water the butterfly waystation on Turkey Mountain. I made Heather come with me. She is a certified master gardener so I thought she could show me how to do it right.

I hope everybody is staying safe and warm.

I am linking up with Skywatch Friday. Come join in.

…I;m not a fan of cold weather, but I hate hot weather even more. Take care and stay warm and well.

I’m in Florida and one morning a few days ago it was in the low 20’s. I wouldn’t have minded if it had snowed, but it didn’t. It rained the next day but wasn’t as cold so still no snow!

My mom could grow anything and even brought some things I had that I though were beyond bringing back, back to life.

Sorry, I am complaining with you, because we have a combination of little snow and ice, and were warned by the utility companies to stay at home (which I do). That shirt sleeve weather sky looks like a painting! It’s an edit eh? Enjoy your weekend indoors!

The ice you got made the national news this morning. I can’t stand the cold anymore. I think we’ll be snowbirds from here on out.

Greetings and Salutations! Short sleeved shirts and then snow photographs mmmm sounds like Illinois just stick around five minutes and you might enjoy the weather you want. LOL!

Whine away! I live in New York State, and I’m the #1 “I hate snow and ice” person. Misery likes company! You are sharing in our weather right now. It’s not fun. Now, when you warm up, if you could send it our way, we’d be grateful.

    I enjoyed seeing your photos!
Our weather turns from warm to cold very quickly back and forth in the Winter. I do not mind the cold temperatures so much, but the cold wind is what hurts.
    Here’s a joke.
What is a lazy wind? Wind that is too lazy to go around you – it goes straight through to chill your bones!
