Skywatch Friday – Mid November Edition 2022

drone 01_HDR

It looked like a nice sky was possible at dusk the other day so I launched the drone and captured this image. Looking west from south Tulsa.

I went and voted Tuesday morning along with millions of fellow citizens. The highlight was a lady come in to vote. She was 100 years old and very spry. She said Truman was the first President she ever voted for. I loved it. Saw this tree just off the parking lot of my polling place.

I love the trees at Tulsa’s Lafortune Park.

A view from the Ridge Trail on Turkey Mountain looking east out over the Arkansas River and south Tulsa.

A rainbow in our neighborhood.

Some fall color in my mother-in-law’s neighborhood.

And now an image generated by Artificial Intelligence based on the text string I inputted which is below the image. Go generate your images for free at freeimagegenerator.com.

I’m still trying to decide whether I like AI images or not.

I’m linking with Skywatch Friday. Come join in the fun.

Love the fall colors, we very rarely see that in Florida and then it’s just a few leaves. Also love the rainbow!
Thanks for the link, so neat!

I followed the AI link have had some fun with it. What you put into it is a big indicator of what comes out. A lot like life! The autumn scene below that you and AI generated is one of the nicest I’ve seen. 🙂

We have had a lot of family obligations and so on these past weeks so I bowed out of any link-ups for a while as I wasn’t sure if I could visit blogs. Glad to finally have an easy day today! Loved your sky photos. Even though we’ve had snow x2 we still have some colorful trees to enjoy. I do wish fall lasted longer. Your AI photo looked like a pretty miniature scene in a diorama.

Great series of photos. The view from the Ridge Trail is particularly appealing to me today, so much drama in that sky. As for the AI, it’s amazing what it can do. I saw an article the other day where AI had brought back to life people in old classic paintings. Pretty spooky but at the same time fascinating.

Very rare to see 100 year old going to the polling station to vote. We will be going to vote on the 19th November. Beautiful photos, beautiful colours and beautiful sky.

Spectacular sky, great autumn colors and my respect for the lady!
The last picture could be a nice puzzle…
I’ve tried the generator to and posted some pictures today – oh yeaaah, I like to play around!
    Happy Veterans day

I love all the fall colors. I think they have been so very beautiful this years. Love the drone photo and the rainbow is beautiful! Hope you have a great day..

Some very nice fall color this year for you. That first drone shot was fantastic – I love when the setting sun tints everything red.

Tulsa always looks better in your photos than I remember–but last time I visited, it was grey and cloudy like it is today in McKinney. Nice shots, though, and very evocative of a midwestern autumn. As it should be, anyway.
