In the shadows along Tulsa’s RiverParks Trails is a homemade memorial to “Andy” who was apparently a golfer.
I wonder if “Andy” died on that spot? I’ve only seen memorials like this in the locations the person died. I like your photo. It must stick out like a sore thumb though, being along a trail in a park. Not something I’d expect to see.
RIP, Andy. We have a memorial in one of our local parks to a teenaged girl, Harper Stantz, who was walking with a friend from the park in 2019 and was struck by a drugged driver. Her friend was seriously injured but survived. It could be that the memorial you saw was due to a tragic crime like that.
