A Ship’s Bell from the USS New Mexico has its own shadow and is about to be engulfed by other shadows on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
So many memories held in tht bell.

In service from 1918-1946 (I looked it up) and this ship was the escort ship for President Wilson when he traveled to France to sign the Treaty of Versailles to end WWI. What a piece of history you found during your roadtrip.
So much history.
