Meet Wilbur, a Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pig. We ran into him at Bear World, near Rigby, Idaho in 2004 when we were visiting my father in Idaho Falls. We loved Wilbur.
Son Logan loved him the most. Wilbur just had one spot of shade under the hot sun.
I thought these photos were lost but I found an old tower PC that we had. I pulled out the hard drive and ordered an enclosure for it on Amazon. When that came I plugged the hard drive in and connected to my laptop and voila. Thousands of photos that I had thought were lost and are now found!! I’m so happy.
Shadow Shot Sunday
Wilber looked very sweet trying to stay cool in that bit of shade. I love coming across old photos we forgot about! Because of the wildfire threat, we did a year-long project and scanned and uploaded all our old non digital photos to a cloud service so they would be preserved.
How wonderful to find long lost photos. I have a lot of those, too. Poor Wilbur and his one spot of shade, but the shade makes him look almost striped.
Cute photo! I remember when pot bellied pigs were “in” and people thought they were mini, as in really small, when they still can get to 200lbs! Wilbur looks pretty hefty!
Even though we live in the thriving community of Bentonville, AR with many new cultural opportunities, my next door neighbor has a pot bellied pig. They are quite large, but you would never know he’s around unless you get a glimpse of him through the fence.
That is one very plump pig but he’s very cute too
Uy es tan lindo. Me enamore de él.
Such a cute pig. Wilbur looks like he was living his best life.
