I love the Brown Thrashers that visit the camera feeder. They are such beautiful birds.
And we get lots of house sparrows. It’s not their fault they are non-native. I’m also non-native.
This poor bird looks a little strange because it is standing kind of close to the camera plus I think it’s just a teenager. I looked a little strange when I was a teenager as well. Of course some people I think I still look strange, but that is getting off topic.

I’m not native either although I am only about 150 or so miles from where I grew up. I’m sure I look strange to some with my proudly grey head. I agree about bird #3 – a young male cardinal in the midst of his adult bright red plumage growing in. Incidentally, birders talk about their “spark bird” – the bird that ignited their interest in birding. What sparked my young interest in watching outdoor birds was, believe it or not, a male house sparrow. Very common bird in my native New York City. But the spark died out for many years until COVID. Like so many, I returned to watching birds and this time it took.

I do like watching birds at the feeders, and I’ve always wanted to get a feeder with a camera on. Maybe I should, as your videos are great.
We have house sparrows too. Well, everyone does, don’t they? Cute bird with the red beak, I see someone called it a juvenile cardinal. I wouldn’t know, that’s one bird I’ve never seen.
