Late January this year, I spent my lunch hour geocaching in East Tulsa during a glorious clear, breezy, brisk Oklahoma January day. This is a view from the geocache named “Nowhere” back to my truck which is about a half mile away. Quite an interesting walk down a long abandoned road.
Thank you very much for visiting.
For views of the sky from all over the world check out Skywatch Friday.
I wonder where that road used to go, back when it really was a road!
Hope you had success in finding your geocache.
What a beautiful shot of the long, winding road. The trees frame the sky wonderfully. Cool shot.
Lovely photo of the trail but it looked so deserted and abandoned. Have a nice weekend, Yogi. I like the ID of Yogi. 🙂
that view from nowhere must lead to somewhere, right! I hope it’s somewhere beautiful. Great shot!Be Beautiful
Lovely blue sky, I can almost feel the “briskness” of the day. Aren’t abandoned roads fun?
Thanks for stopping by my photo blog and commenting!
Great Skywatch photo, a lonely road.
I like this. It’s romantic. I am glad you got the shot.
I love this picture!
By the way, did you see the IT’s response to your comment today?
I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.
Isn’t it amazing how the weeds always seem to find there way through all that. Nice photo
That looks like a beautiful somewhere to me.
Beautiful catch and find…the sky is awesome and I love this photo, coz of the pathway…
Nowhere sure is beautiful, fantastic photo.
Have a great weekend!

The tall weeds give the picture a kind of mysterious look. I quite like it.
Yogi: That is an interesting place, a road that runs into the sky.
Nice choice! It reminded me of the music «We’re on the road to nowhere», by «Talking Heads»!
(I love the dog in your avatar’s picture!!!)

what a cool meme. i could spend all day on memes. i think they’re so fun. great blue sky.
It DOES look somewhat “nowhere-ish,” but that’s the charm of what you were doing. I letterbox and love the places it takes me.
awesome pic yogi!
an abandonned road, not paved over and developed – a treat in itself.
That must have been a lovely walk. Great photo!
really like the perspective on this shot.
Great shot and slightly spooky looking.
Wonderful nowhere land. I love being alone in the countryside. It looks crisp and crunchy under foot.
This is pretty neat Yogi. You seem to know a lot of cool places to take pictures at. Didn’t it worry you walking down that road by yourself? It would have scared me silly. Too many crazy people out there.
That looks like 46th street north? Or what used to be 46th street north before 266 was built along the north side of the airport.
Follow the ILS lights north from there and you’ll find an abandoned water treatment facility. Pretty cool.
The old road looks interesting. I can’t wait to get out and find more geocaches.
