I promise, no more Skywatch photos featuring power pylons, at least for a while;)
Early last Sunday morning at the start of a short run.

Gadzooks Sir, methinks thou dost not know thy pylon from they pile of metal!!!!

@LeedsLass – hey I’m a chemical engineer, not an electrical engineer.
Wow – beautiful!
The pylons make an interesting contrast with the colorful patches of morning sky.
The composition – lines and color are very creative, Yogi. Another great one!
Wonderful iPhone shot… Hipstamatic?
Beautiful shot! Happy sky watching.
My Sky.
First off, I love how you expressed your feelings about America in the post below…to have us all unite would be wonderful. And not just for one day….
As for your sunrise before your short run…that’s a beautiful image with the tower silhouetted.
I like the way the pylons look! Nice shot.
Hey, I like this framing!
dont stop, they’re like my water towers .. such good foreground, background images .. gives a sense of size and location
Frames that beautiful sky well, so what will you do now? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
The sky beyond the pylon is beautiful. I love the colors. Thanks for sharing, happy skywatching!
Power pylons are as cool as they are humbling. They look to me like weight lifters flexing their muscles. (Headless weight lifters, but weight lifters nonetheless….)
Beauty can come from every corner even from under the tower.
