A candy cane at Tulsa’s Winterfest and below some playground equipment. Both photographs are film.
A phone booth found while shopping with Sweetie at Utica Square.
Sad to report, SuperPizzaBoy doesn’t want to visit Santa this year:(
I love all of your delightful “REDS” for the day! Tis indeed the time to be jolly! And the “see no Santa” does eventually come to all the young ones, but hopefully doesn’t spoil the holiday fun! Hope all of you have a wonderful week!

Nice bunch of reds. What a surprise to see a Real phone booth but probably no phone inside.
Your baby has grown up, nothing to be done about it but go with the flow of time.
Phone booths are a rare and endangered species. There was once one about 5 miles from our cabin and always a line to use it. Now it is gone. Instead there is a parking area down the road with good reception and each evening there is a car or two parked with occupants talking on a cell phone.
Awww…no Santa this year? That will make me sad one day too. Emma visited Santa here in HELL yesterday and she was GREAT! No fussing at all. She even yelled BYE BYE SANTA at the top of her lungs as we were leaving.
Sweet girl needs to learn her inside voice vs outside voice.
Oh my, I haven’t seen a red phone box since leaving the UK to settle in Australia, how delightful to see one 🙂
SPB is growing up!
I miss the visits with Santa. Not living close to our son and his family I don’t get to enjoy watching his kiddos’ talks with Santa but they do tell me about them. Our granddaughter was very proud to let me know that she had her picture taken with Santa this year. Santa has “skeered” her in the past.
Oh, a lovely old red phone booth. Brings back good memories!
I’m joining the choir here – I too love the red phone booth. That’s an old-timer and a rare sighting I’m sure. I can’t recall the last time I saw a booth, and most of the outdoor phones here have been taken down. They’re just targets for vandalism and with cell phones they’ve become obsolete.
The first two images are splendid. I can tell they’re film – there’s a quality that can only come from gelatin. They look to be vintage photos and I love that.
I’ve been thinking of you Yogi, wondering if you’re in the path of the blizzard we’ve been hearing about. If you don’t like snow, I hope you’ve escaped its path. If you do like snow, well then you’re all set! Normally I would be in the path of that storm here in Wisconsin – they come out of the pan-handle and swing northward. This is a very strange year – nothing but rain so far. I hope you have a marvelous day Yogi. take care now.
Wonderful Reds! The iconic telephone booth which may soon become a thing of the past and the cute red roofed cottage were my facvorites!
Film? Do you still shoot film? I can’t even find it anymore!!!
RED HAT
Red hat, I am lonesome.
Red hat, are you free?
Red hat, please consider
Coming home with me.
I need a companion,
One who’ll warm my head;
I think you’ll do nicely,
Hat of brilliant red.
You’re the warmest color,
Not like blue or green—
Red hat at the vendor’s,
Red hat, you’re my queen.
