During our recent trip Gulf Shores, Alabama for vacation we noticed that just before sunset every evening there was a migration of fellow vacationers to the beach. They were all dressed in khaki’s and whites and what they were doing was getting their family photographs taken. I got to help out a time or two with taking the photos.
Have you ever worn your khaki’s and whites to the beach?
Great picture. I love the beach…sigh.
I’ve never been to the beach unless you count the beach at Eufaula Lake. When I do go I’m going to wear khakis and white!
I’ve only been to the beach a handful of times but never at that time of day. Those folks are sure to be taking home some wonderful photos though.
Beautiful view!
My Watery Wednesday post, have a nice day!
It’s always nice to take photos of others. Especially in front of such a beautiful backdrop. I offer all the time at the canyon.
Beautiful shot of the beach and sunset — and you know how I love sunsets! Never thought about khaki and white, but then I’ve never worn them anywhere, must be missing something!! Enjoy your day!

I guess I’ve worn lots of different things to the beach. 😉
Seriously, about the “golden hour” for photographers, there is just nothing like it. You get two of them every day. If you miss the one in the morning, you can catch the one in the evening.
Whew. Judging by the title of this post, I was a little scared to read it.
Nope. I’ve never dressed in khaki and white for a pic. They are NOT my colors.
Beautiful sky shot and I’m like Impulsive Addict, khaki and white are not to my taste!
Some of your photos might end up on Holiday cards.
Sure is beautiful place and time of day to take family photos!
Must’ve been beautiful because there were so many people on the beach. I have no fashion sense, so don’t be surprised if I have dressed in khaki’s and whites to the beach.
I love to go down to my beach at dusk, it is a special time of day for me, as for what I wear….. usually something orange!
Magic hour indeed. There are some special memories being captured along the beach at that time of day. Nicely done.
