Sunday the family journeyed from Tulsa north to Woolaroc, a museum and wildlife preserve that used to be Frank Phillips‘ Ranch (like in Phillips Petroleum). We toured the museum and the barn and looked at the critters but the best part was hiking through the woods. Everything was very green and fresh and magical.

Looks very spring like and green and fresh indeed. Woolarac sounds like an Australian name!
GREEN is a very magical colour this time of year. Nice time of year for the family to be hiking!
Looks like a great day and a beautiful place to hike!! Thanks as always for sharing the fun and the beauty! Hope your week is going well!!
Really pretty, Yogi!
nice forest!
I always enjoy a hike in the woods.. Lovely capture.. Have a happy week!
Hello and nice to see you in Nature Notes again. I love all the green in the photo as it was a long cold winter here in NY. Interesting about Phillips Petroleum Company. I was watching something on the History TV Channel which I love and this was mentioned. Amazing how much money was made by some enterprising folks back then…. Michelle
Beautiful. Nice for your family to hike together.
Sounds like a great day for all. The scenery is nicely green.
