Skywatch Friday

We had storms in Tulsa on Tuesday. I hate the storms but love the rain and all it brings us. As long as it is not too much. I’m choosy about my blessings.

I went out to western Oklahoma for a meeting on Monday. I love the big skies and the big hearted, hard working people out there. If you look close you can tell I work for a pipeline company based on all the stuff in the foreground.

Snake River Skywatch 2

This is evening on the Snake River in Idaho Falls from our trip out there a couple weeks ago. We went to check on my father. He is not doing very well and your prayers on his behalf would be appreciated. My sister is there with him right now. I think I’ll be going back soon.

Hello Yogi, I guess the rain is necessary, especially when it could prevent wildfires. The Oklahoma big sky shot is pretty, I love the last Snake River shot, that is a gorgeous area. Thanks for hosting.

BTW, if you ever need help with the Skywatch hosting, let me know I could help out when needed.

Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.

I am sorry to learn about your dad. Sending good thoughts. Thank you as always for hosting SWF and for your always good posts — estpecially when you have a few hundred other things on your mind.

I don’t like storms because it can be scary but I love the rain as long as it is not a threat to properties and lives. The open sky over your company is beautiful. Lovely reflection over the Snake River. So sorry that your dad has not been well. Hope he will be well soon.

This has been the mildest and wettest August that I can remember here in NW Arkansas. The temperature has not hit 100 yet and we’ve had a lot of rain. I like the rain, lightening…not so much. Nice set of images Yogi. I tend to forget just how wide open western Oklahoma is. I was in Kingfisher once and I think I could see Amarillo to the West and Tulsa to the east.

So sad to read about your father’s health; hope to be&recover well! My parents are old (82&85), as well, and I know how sad it is being old. Greetings of well and wishes of good health for the whole family, especially your father!
