I put my trailcam out last night for the first time in a long time. I checked it this morning and we had a mystery cat snooping around at 1:30 in the morning.
I haven’t been able to go hiking in the woods for a while because of all the rain we’ve had so I have been walking around Lafortune Park here in Tulsa a lot. I followed this squirrel down the trail for a 25 yards or so and he finally climbed up this pole and was looking at me chattering and flagging his tail. It was like he was saying “What!!”
I am linking with Shadow Shot Sunday and Saturdays’ Critters. Come join in the fun!!
Hello Alan,
I almost missed the cat visiting, great shadow shot. Cute squirrel photo. The squirrels make some funny sounds when they are fussy. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Squirrels are shadowy critters that I could do without!
The cat blended in with your fire pit shadow. That was one cheeky squirrel…lol! Send some of your rain up to Colorado–we haven’t had enough this spring

The secret life of cats… – I’m often curious, what does my cat outside all the night –
Cute squirrel!
Alan – yep, I am sure that squirrel had you pegged as a stalker!
Loved the squirrel pic!
We had a nocturnal cat, as well. Which is surprising, as we’ve no neighbours this side of the highway.
Super shadows and nothing like a squirrel to make our grand dog happy!
Sure looks like nice day.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Cute squirrel. There’s a cat who wanders through my yard.
Hard to find shadows with so much rain, but you did it.
We have had a lot of rain too and I kept my cam in for a while. Put it out for the first time last night. You always see interesting sightings on these things. We had a fox one time, and then there are the raccoons occasionally. Great shot of the agitated squirrel. He’s really giving you what-for.
So cute, he was probably chattering at you for food.
They really don’t like people or other animals and birds in “their’ woods!!
…send some rin our way, it’s dry!
I think trail cams are wonderful – finally saw the cat!
