I was geocaching at a clinic’s gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma when I came upon this sculpture. I thought, “interesting” and snapped the pic and moved on with my task.
I found what I was looking for and noticed the walkway circling the sculpture and saw roman numeral numbers, then the light went on in my head! The sculpture is a giant sundial and is keeping almost perfect time. Eureka. I love figuring out stuff like that.
I’m linking with Shadow Shot Sunday II – come check it out.

Damn, even I didn’t figure that was a sun dial till I read ahead. Looks fairly interesting.
I believe the summers have been quite a scorcher in your part of the world. We have had a very rainy monsoon this year, which seem to have impacted a lot of farmers, but it’s kept the weather fairly pleasant. Except on days when it doesn’t rain then it gets super muggy.
Have a good rest of the week. Be well.
You find interesting architecture. Mind you, I’m not often in a city!
Our hummingbirds left for awhile, but now we’re starting to see some again. We’ve never had as many as Mary, but we don’t work at it as hard either.
Graceful and attractive on its own and it’s practical art!! Cool.
Smart you! And a “well-timed” shadow shot!
That is cool!
