Life sure is better when you can get outside and do things!
Launched my drone again from my back yard. I thought the sunset was going to be better than what it was. Better than nothing though.
I pointed the aircraft west and oriented the camera down a little bit and caught the west side of our neighborhood.
Son, Logan and I went for a hike on Turkey Mountain the other day. It was beautiful. We spent some time on the paved trail next to the Arkansas River.
We had a good time.
I went geocaching the other day. The sky was pretty cool, and I had a successful hunt. It was close to residences and I was feeling watched.
Found some more at a neighborhood park in an older part of town. It was an historic park. For one thing it was close to aircraft manufacturing plants during World War II. The men were at war so the housewives worked. There was an old retired guy who looked after the kids at this park during the workday. I bet that was a zoo.
I got lucky and found a very small geocache, It still counts.
I’m linking with Skywatch Friday. Come check it out.
…a blue sky makes the day special and we have one today!
It’s an unusual sunset.
Good variety of stuff. Drones are an interesting example of tech that has both good and problematic uses–but I love what they’ve done for nature and travel photography. I also love the banner shot of the river and skyline. The fuzzy trees provide a nice contrast to angular buildings. Tulsa really does seem to be a pretty town.
Life is better when you can get outside! I’m a warm weather person so if it’s cold and windy you’ll find me inside or at the Y.
Beautiful captures!
That first sunset is interesting – lot more yellow than you usually see
Great shots!
I think it’s a pretty nice sunset. I like that it’s yellow instead of the reds I always get.
True! Life is always better outside city for me. Its been difficult to wander outside nowadays. Hope I find the trigger to frequently travel outside city
I guess people were more casual about childcare 70-80 years ago. The sky in your first photo is stunning.
I like your sky shot. There are some beautiful colours in it. It looks like spring is in the air where you live.
Oh yeah, life is better outside! Geocache must be a nice adventure. Once I ramdomly found a small geochace under the purples of a big tree, but I gave it back, it’s not my game. I haven’t a smartphone for such things…
Enjoy your weekend out or inside
I don’t know anything about geocache, so, even such a small object can be ‘target’? and it is not mistaken for litter?
Great nature from all methods ~ Wow! ~ Great geocache and love the park photo ~ Wonderful hike on Turkey Moutain for you and your son ~ lovely photos too ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Yes, life is better if you can leave the house. Beautiful blue skies are a bonus. So is that sign in the historic park – I would love finding things like that. I haven’t considered drone photography but people (including you) get so many excellent captures. Alana ramblinwitham
Always nice sitting next to water, even better when there’s a nice walk attached to it.
Did I miss the time frame when these were taken? I’m surprised of the lack of snow on the ground. Don’t you get snow every year?
Worth a Thousand Words
Amazing skies, Loved the post and pics.
