A male northern cardinal captured on the camera feeder in the backyard. I used a hipstamatic filter on the image.
Big Foot on the loose on Turkey Mountain.
Another male Northern Cardinal in teh backyard
I love the House Finches when they come to call.
I leave a few peanuts on the feeder. The blue jays and cardinals appreciate it and sometimes squirrels. I use jalapeno flavored birdseed and saffron seeds in the feeder. Birds love them but squirrels don’t like it.
These images are from late March and early April. I have fallen way behind on my posting. I am linking with Saturday’s Critters.

Love the artsy image, the cardinal and finch photos. I have seen a similar Bigfoot around my area.
The squirrels are always hanging on the feeders. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
The bird cam views are always entertaining!
The big foot is a good piece of humour, love the little red bird though, have a nice weekend.
wow ! Yogi ~ awesome creations ~ love the cardinals and finch and Big Foot is fun ~
Happy Weekend to you and thanks for commenting on my blog too, ^_^
I like this hipstamatic effect on your first photo, and great bird shots at your feeder. I’ve seen Big Foot out in the country around here too. Happy weekend to you all and please wish your sweet lady a Happy Mother’s Day!
What a beautiful series of photos.
The male Northern Cardinal is my favorite.
I wish you a lovely Sunday.
All the best, Irma
I like the artsy cardinal picture, both the cardinal and the background. I’ve never heard of saffron seeds being used to feed birds. Did you mean safflower? The first year we had our feeder up we only used safflower but only certain birds seem to like it.
