Downtown Reflections

I’m still learning how to use my new Takashi Digital FX 521 Camera. It can take photographs using different effects in the camera rather than with software later.

The building where I work

Again with the blue tint.

I like the negative effect the best:

I haven’t quite figured out how to control the “folded up” appearance seen in the first and last photographs on the lower right hand side. That is a feature of the camera that appears because it is so low tech and backwards in its technology. I’d love to be able to figure out how to do it on purpose.

Interesting that the folded up corner seems to appear randomly. You might have to (horrors!) read the instructions.

Tricky features aside, I like the angle and the reflections. I would have trouble getting in that close. Your building and the view you get from it gives you an advantage, (not that you need it).

Love the shots from your new camera!! Wish I knew more about my old one so I could do some different things with my photos! Great reflections! Hope your day is going well!

WOW!!! This is a great feature to your new camera. I would have a hay day with it. Each shot is nice in its own way, but my favorite has to be negative one. Great post. Genie

Hope you enjoy using your new camera. Isn’t is amazing what they can do these days!! I like your downtown reflection. Have a nice Sunday. Mickie

    Nice shots!.

The folded look is due to movement. if you move slowly in one direction taking a shot you should see it more. It’s apparently due to a logical shutter rather than physical. I read this somewhere so am not sure of the viability of the claim!.

I’ve just bought one of these on ebay as I want to see if I can modify the front end to take Diana f+ lenses.
