Saturday’s Backyard Critters

We got to missing our little bunnies and wondered where they were so I put the trailcam on their favorite yarrow patch and one showed up the other day.

We are worried about our puppy Kodi getting them but so far he just half heartedly chases them.

Every once in a while he goes on the hunt for them and gets one to run but like I said his heart is not in it. WHICH IS FINE BY ME!!

I captured myself cutting the grass the other day. I am about the only person on the street that still mows their own yard.

And here is Lizzie. She never goes out in the back yard but she likes to check out the action through the window when she is not napping. She naps a lot.

I’m linking with Saturday’s Critters.

Sounds like Kodi enjoys teasing your bunnies. They are all cute critters.
Lizzie looks very comfy napping. My hubby stills mows our lawn, he is talking about a lawn service soon.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Tell Kodi I love bunnies too! We’ve always mowed our own yard. I did when my boys were little and now my youngest son does. Lizzie must be related to my cats. They love looking out the window and the only other time they really move is when it’s time to eat or they go lay down in another room. They’re so lazy that they’ve never played with any of the toys I’ve bought them.

bunnies, bunnies…they are everywhere!! i have a family living under my deck and another living under a huge shrub in my front yard. i will agree with you on your last comment, my entire street uses the same service to cut their lawn!!

Sweet kitty- reminds me of my Katie Kat….she slept alot too…in fact I think it was her all time favorite thing to do. Have a good weekend.

Sounds like Kodi and bunnies get their exercise. Lizzie is very cute also. You have reminded me I haven’t put my outside critter cam out for a long time. I miss seeing the unexpected surprises. Mowing is great exercise. Have a great weekend!

The bunnies finally showed up this week, after the rains and the temperature cooled in the mornings.
Like you, I am about the only one on the block that still mows their own yard, but I have reached the point that at the end of the mowing season, I ask myself, “Do I really want to do this again next year?”
