Saturday the flowers were blooming and the sun was shining at Woodward Park. It’s that time of year when Spring is Springing but the trees haven’t leafed out yet.
The critters were out scrounging around.
People were flocking to enjoy the sun and the quiet of the place.
This couple went old school with a blanket and a dog. I wish we had dogs that could just lay down and be quiet in a public place. No way, especially with a bunch of squirrels that need a good barking and chase.
I was totally jealous of this guy or gal. I’d never seen a hammock that closes up like this. What a great place to take a nap.
Like I said, everybody was catching rays.
I could use a healthy dose of spring. Those daffodils are stunning and I can almost smell their aroma. Love how the statue is taking in those rays!
Those pictures make one glad to be alive – I LOVE the springtime.
That image of the couple lying on the ground with their dog is my idea of a lazy spring day in the park. Very nicely captured image.
I can’t think of a better place to enjoy the early days of spring than Woodward Park. You did a great job of capturing the joys of spring.
What a fun “happy spring” post for the day!! Love your pics and the last one is the perfect ending for the day! Love it!! Hope your week is going well!
I’m loving your look of spring, especially the daffodils.
Keep an eye on your truffle oil. 😉
What a gorgeous day!
Absolutely lovely. I was a little worried about ‘people watching’ after your last post about the couple amidst the daffodils. (But not so worried that I was afraid to look!). I love every people picture here….and every daffodil. Happy Spring!!
So lovely sunny Spring pictures since the beginning of April… lots of yellow, flowers in almost all of your posted posts… and I must say that this park it seems to be so inviting for meditation and relaxation!! Have a sunny weekend!
